We are delighted to inform everyone that our very own Stewart Piper has been selected for the Masters England Lionhearts squad to travel to Ireland later in the year.
Stewart was a fans favourite at Doncaster Rugby League for many years and was part of the infamous ‘Another Bloody Sunday’ squad of the 80s.
He made his debut at Doncaster Toll Bar as a fresh faced 73 year old in 2021. Since then Stewart has gone on to Don the Maroon And Blue 19 times but try as we might he is yet to notch a first score for the club. Stewart remains our oldest ever player and shows no signs of slowing down!
We all wish Stewart the best of luck and we are sure he will smash the England job and do himself and the club proud!
